THE RED BRIDGE COOKING SCHOOL
The popular Red Bridge Cooking School offers half day, full day and evening
programs everyday of the year. Highlights include a guided tour of Hoi An's
colourful central market, boat trip on the Hoi An River, and hands on cooking
class.

Itinerary:
You should come to the Hai Scout Café- Located in a landmark building, in the heart of ‘Old Hoi An’ to meet the Chef. Then go buy the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later. After the market visit, you board a Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Thu Bon River to the Red Bridge Cooking School.
On arrival, explore the school’s herb and vegetable garden, before learning about some of Hoian’s and Vietnam’s well-known dishes, which are a mix of Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. The cooking lesson lasts about 2 hours – each dish is first demonstrated by the Red Bridge chefs, before you prepare the same dish by yourself. The class also contains a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson, we sit down and eat what we have cooked. Then the boat will take you back to Hoi An Town.
