Malaysia Country

Malaysia is a country in Asia that is different from any other country in the continent.  It is unique in many ways.  As a Malaysian, I can tell you the many unique facets of my country.  Firstly, Malaysia is safe for foreign travelers compared to many other Asian countries.  Tourism is a big part of Malaysia’s economy so the government makes a lot of effort to ensure the security of the country, especially its foreign visitors.  That is why Malaysia has one of the highest numbers of tourists as well as foreign students compared to other Asian countries.
There are more than 50 ethnic groups altogether in the country, namely Malays, Chinese, Indians, Kadazans, Ibans, Senois, Negritos, Bajaus, Muruts, Kelabits etc.  All these races have lived together peacefully since independence in 1957.  That is why Malaysia is known as The Rainbow Nation of Asia.  Just as the different colors of the rainbow combine together to form a beautiful spectrum, likewise in Malaysia, no one race dominates the other but each live and work together in harmony.

Malaysia is unique in the wonderful attractions it offers to international visitors.  If you think some Asian countries are attractive, Malaysia is more so!  Unlike some Asian countries that have merely concrete man-made attractions and unlike others that are so backward they do not have comfortable facilities, Malaysia has a rich blend of man-made and natural attractions that appeal to young and old.
